GEORGE CHARLES CARROLL It is with profound sadness that the family announces the death of George Charles Carroll on Monday, November 12, 2007, at the age of 76. George is survived by his loving wife Eileen who were married 48 years. Also son Kevin (Dianne) in Calgary and daughter Sherri in Winnipeg; five precious grandchildren, Twyla, Meghan, Lisha, Rhiannon and Sagan blessed his life and were dearly loved. He is also survived by his sister Mona (Norm) in Moose Jaw. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Alice; brothers, Earl, Cecil, Lorne and Kenneth; and sister Laura. George was born at Starbuck, MB, and obtained his early education there. At the age of 60 he returned to school to finish his studies. He was a real role model to the younger students and those unsure of their life plans. George's working career was with Dominion Bridge. After retirement he drove a limousine for ten years. Illness finally forced him to slow down. During this time he met many VIP's but the most special one was the driver. Funeral services will be held at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church at 881 Autumnwood Dr. at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Cancer Society, the MS Society or a charity of your choice. We will miss George's great sense of humour and his kindness to others. He was a gentle man but more importantly a gentleman. He left this world a better place because he was in it. What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined for life... to strengthen each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, and to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories ... - George Eliot
