ELDA ANNA SINOSICH (SUSTAR) August 2, 1924 - November 9, 2007 It is with great sorrow and aching hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest mother, Elda Sinosich. She passed peacefully into the loving care of her Lord surrounded by her family where her life was celebrated and her love was cherished. Her memory will be held dear by her loving children, Louis (Chris), Marisa (Stephen), John (Barb), Frank (Cathy), and Cristina (Barry). Also grieving her loss are her loving grandchildren, Trisha (Bert), Tami, Daniel, Kelsey, Holly, Heidi, John, Jason, Alannah; and her great-grandchildren, Kristian and Kenzie. She is survived by her sisters, Nella (Nazio), Rory (Benny) and Fifi who will mourn her loss immensely. Too numerous to mention are her nieces and nephews and their families that she treasured dearly. She was predeceased by her precious mother Anna; father Giovanni; and sisters, Mary, baby Lidia and Lidia Sclippa, all of whom she adored. Her greatest loss in life was that of her most beloved husband Dani who we know has welcomed her into his loving arms. Along the way, Elda accumulated a multitude of friends with her gracious and warm way. Please forgive us the names of friends and family who loved her but were not mentioned here as the list of mourners is as great as the love she had for you. At this time the family would like to thank all the staff at Dufferin for the extraordinary care they took of mom over the past three years; to Dr. Baird who was mom's sage advisor and comforting shoulder as well as her physician; we'd also like to express our heartfelt thanks to our cousin Jenny Benvin who was able to comfort us and help us through mom's final hours even through her own grief. We wish to invite all of Elda's family and friends to join us for a celebration of her life where we ask you to share your memories of mom on Friday, November 16 at Trinity Church, 6234 Spartan Road, Nanaimo, BC, at 1:00 p.m., with a tea to follow the service. We will never forget her face, the sound of her voice, the gentleness of her touch . . . we always knew we were loved. First Memorial Funeral Services, Nanaimo (250) 754-8333
