ROSA De BARCELOS Peacefully on November 12, 2007, Rosa passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her sisters and brother Zulmira, Ludevina, Esperanca, Maria and Joao. Rosa is survived by her loving brother-in-law Laurentino; nieces and nephews Ana Maria (Manuel), Francisco (Lucia), Maria (Elvino) and Jose (Conceicao); great nieces and nephews Kevin, Marcia, Marco, Michael, Elvino, Sergio, Ana Lucia, Elmiro and Thiago and all other family members in Portugal, Brazil and the U.S.A. Rosa was born in Terceira, Acores and came to Canada in 1985. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for the compassionate care and companionship. Also to the friends of the family who visited Rosa. Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe and Brazier with Brother Jorge Villegas, O.F.M., Cap. as celebrant.
