ARLA ROWDEN (nee GOTHARD) On November 13, 2007 at Goldenwest Centennial Lodge, Arla passed away at the age of 82. Arla was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 1984. She is survived by her son Robert; daughter Wendy Bliss (Grant); three grandsons, Darren, David and Brian; sister Lorna Johnson (Clifford) and one niece and one nephew. After raising her family mom spent many years at Eaton's Polo Park. Mom spent ten years volunteering at Goldenwest before she became a resident in 2002. She loved her family, her little house and adored her three grandsons. Special thanks to the staff at Goldenwest for all your care and support and to special friends Alan and Deborah Schadek and family, Eileen Waithman and Gerry and Florence Lindal. A memorial service will be held at Goldenwest at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goldenwest Centennial Lodge, 811 School Rd. Winnipeg, MB R2Y 0S8.
