LYDIA (LIL) NERODA 1915 - 2007 Peacefully with family by her side, Lil passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on November 13, 2007, at the age of 92 years. Lil was predeceased by her beloved husband Nick; and her sisters, Mary, Emily, Bertha and Martha. She is survived by her son Jim and his wife Irene; daughter Janet Kuhlman and her husband Don; two granddaughters, Jamie Ferens (Bruce), Leann Muise (Ed); two grandsons, Craig Kuhlman (Jill), Darren Kuhlman (Colleen); and great-grandchildren, Trevor, Ryan, Edward, Brendyn, Jordon, Kyle, Nicholas, and Ashley. Lil was born in Winnipeg and lived there until her remaining days. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. One of her prides was knitting for not only her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but also for the Christmas Cheer Board. In her spare time she loved to play cards and go for a bite to eat. You were always there when we needed you. No task too great or small, with a loving heart and a willing hand, For us you did them all. Thank you for the years you gave us and for the times we shared. We know that when you left us you knew how much we cared. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you and said, Come unto Me. Forever in our hearts, your loving family. Grandma, Your lemon pies and angel cookies were always something to look forward too. You taught us to love and find good in everyone. You loved us unconditionally and we will always cherish that. We know you've gone to a better place to be with Grandpa. Still we wish we had one more chance to spend another day with you and even though we know we can't, we'll see you in heaven. With all our love, Jamie, Leann, Craig and Darren. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Goeke, the nurses and aide's on the 3rd floor at Seven Oaks Hospital. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Mom's wishes a private family service will be held. Donations may be made in Lil's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
