DONALD STUPAK Peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, Don or Stu as his close friends knew him, passed away. He was born on May 6, 1942 in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in Lac du Bonnet where he spent his life. Don's passion in life was sports. His knowledge of statistics and trivia would rival the best and he once considered following this as a career. He was especially proud of having won the Lac du Bonnet Open Golf Tournament 26 times. A highlight for Don was a recent trip he took to experience the Kananaskis Country Golf Course in Alberta. Don enjoyed many years of competitive curling and took great pride in being the Ice Maker at the Lac du Bonnet Curling Club for many years. Don will be sadly missed by his sister Paulette and nephew Jamie. He was predeceased by his Mother Josie and Father Paul. The family would like to thank all the people who assisted through these trying times. The visits and support meant a great deal to Don. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Van Gend and the staff at the Pinawa Hospital along with the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. At Don's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private interment will be held at a later date. Stu, we will all miss you.
