AUDREY JEAN SCOTT (MCWHIRTER) On Sunday, November 11, 2007 with courage and dignity at Tuxedo Nursing home, Audrey Jean left us to be with the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Dick and her parents Elizabeth and Andrew McWhirter. She is survived by her step-daughter Constance, her twin brother Ralph and sister-in-law Flora, several nieces and nephews, friends Jo and Brian Humnisky, Carole Olson, Sharon Wilson and Ron Dunsmore and from Vancouver Lois Kelly, Leonore Rennie and Margaret Menic. Audrey was born and educated in Winnipeg and after high school worked for the C.N.R. for 35 years. Together with her husband she travelled to such places as Portugal, Hawaii, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Nevada and western Canada. She and Dick loved their trips to Grafton and Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was an avid reader, loved strawberry picking, attending lectures and travelogues and playing her piano. Her love of animals showed with her beloved dogs Charlie and Curly . She was kind and generous and volunteered at many places. According to Audrey's wishes, her remains were donated to medical science at the University of Manitoba.
