Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY ALTOMARE June 13, 1932 - November 14, 2007 Peacefully in the arms of her family that she loved and cherished Mom entered into eternal rest in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. Shirley will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her devoted children, Wayne (Brenda), Christene (Fred) and Maury (Tania). Grandchildren, Tara (Ryan Keyser), Andrea (David Abbott), Trent, Maury Jr. and Tyler (Samantha). Great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kyle, Kayla, Amy, Gabrielle and Giovanni. Four siblings, Lorraine (Jan), Anita, Ted and Penny (John) Others were taken, YES we know. But, she was OURS, and we'll miss her so. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (viewing one half hour prior) on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Luncheon immediately after the service. After 10 and one half years apart Shirley was happy and relieved to be rejoining her soul-mate of 48 years. She left us with a smile knowing that Tom was waiting for her with open arms. Interment will be at Transcona Cemetery where they will rest together forever side by side. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Society. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
