Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARA ANNE ATKIN On November 11, 2007 Anne passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 84. She is survived by her son Greg and brother Matt. She is now reunited with her husband Harold. She was born in Lethbridge, AB, where she met Harold. Soon after they moved to Winnipeg. She worked at Eaton's for over 40 years and will be remembered by the Eaton's Retirement Club. Thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospital for their great care. She was the best mother in the world. A service will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715

Anne was special. She was the life for the family: fun: loving, candid, and caring. I especially appreciate all the time she took to visit my father in his later years in residence and later, nursing home as we, Dad's children, all lived so far away. She genuinely cared about him, and us, honouring the special place that Dad had had in hers and Greg's lives. Thanks, Anne. You will be very much missed. Dear Greg: I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a very special person to me. I loved her sense of humor, her laughter, her stories and her beautiful singing voice. She was such a gentle soul. She touched everyone she came in contact with. and I'm so glad you both became a part of our family. You were her life and know that she loved you so much.
