Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALMA YOUNG (nee KWAST) 1914 - 2007 On Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Pembina-Manitou Health Centre, Alma Young of Manitou aged 93 years passed away peacefully. Although her official birth date is registered as January 15, 1914, Alma's family always celebrated earlier on October 15th because the pumpkins and cabbages were in the field when she was born . She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter Linda Pincock; four sons, Kenneth Boyd and Lois, Murray and Marilyn, David and Bonnie, Jim and Susan; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren as well as four sisters-in-law, Lydia Kwast, Milly Kwast, Marie Kwast, Ollie Rach; one brother-in-law Stuart and Mary Young and numerous relatives and friends too many to mention. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, August and Maria (nee Lips) Kwast; beloved husband, Alex (1994); son Glen Young (November 13, 2007) and granddaughter Heather Jesperson (2001). Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. til 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2007 at St. Andrew's United Church in Manitou at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Manitou Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Alma's memory to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB, St. Andrew's United Church or Pembina-Manitou Health Centre.
