RUSSELL PALACHUK 1934 - 2007 With loving wife Ruth and children by his side Russell passed away on November 13, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 73 years. Russell is survived by his wife Ruth of 51 years, daughters Cathi, Cheryl both of Calgary, sons Jay, and Brin of Winnipeg, grandchildren, Brook, Teresa, Katie and Tamara and Jeremy of Calgary. Russ was predeceased by his parents Annie and Harry. Russ was born and raised in Winnipeg and worked for Manitoba Sugar for 30 years where he made many friends. Most recently he worked for the Department of National Defense. Russ had a love of wood working and created many beautiful pieces. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. The family would like to thank the awesome staff at St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service is to be held on Monday November 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Avenue. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
