ETELVINA TEIXEIRA (nee CAETANO) December 1, 1921 - November 15, 2007 Suddenly on Thursday, November 15, 2007, Etelvina Teixeira went to be with the Lord. Mom will be lovingly remembered by children, Antero (Lucia), Ana (Nataniel), Mario (Leonor), Manuel (Maria Rute), Ezequiel; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Mike), Michael (Ana), Wally (Jenny), Christina (Kyle) Teixeira, Daniel (Liz), Ana (Elton), Armando (Karina), Sam (Marlene) Raposo, Jorge, Marcia (Brian), and Angelica (friend Dave) Teixeira, Katherine (Paulo), Michael and Chris Teixeira, Miguel (Annelie), Katherine (Rhys), and Jenna Teixeira; 20 great- grandchildren; brothers, Danny of Sudbury, ON, and Francelino of Montreal, QC, brother and sister Joseph and Eduarda of Holland, and sister Maria of Portugal; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Armando in 1963; daughter-in-law Carolyn Teixeira in 2005; as well as brothers and sisters. Etelvina was a loving mother whose life was totally dedicated to her children whom she raised alone following the death of her husband. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007, also at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, with Rev. Elton da Silva officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend special thanks to daughter Ana and husband Nataniel for lovingly taking care of Mom tirelessly for the last five years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Etelvina to a charity of one's choice. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.glenlawn.ca.
