ANNA VIAU (nee HOGUE) Born July 9, 1907, peacefully passed away on the morning of November 14, 2007 with family by her bedside. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand in 1942 while serving his country in England. She is survived by two children, and three sisters. Daughter Irene Deferme (Marcel), of Belgium. Son, Phil Viau (Sharon) of Alberta, and sisters Eva, Aurore and Leonie. She also leaves eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend its many Thanks to all the compassionate nurses and staff at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg during her stay, especially to granddaughter Colleen Scramstad for overseeing her care. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., in Winnipeg. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, 280 Balderstone Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba R4A 4A6 Your time has come to re-join Armand. Rest in Peace.
