Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE SMITH (nee) SHINDRUK July 15, 1923 - November 15, 2007 Irene passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 84. She is survived by husband Robert, son Cody (Bonnie), two grandchildren, Christina (Paul) Desmarais, Curtis (Cheryl) Smith, and four great-grandchildren, Dominick, Marisa, Mya and Alois. She also leaves to mourn her passing sisters, Lena Dziver, Winnipeg and Madeline Leggett of Surrey, BC and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, Dmytro and Barbara Shindruk, sisters, Ann, Rose, Mary, Hilda and brother Stanley, predeceased her. A tragic accident took her daughter Cynthia (Cindy) in 1970. Services will be held on Saturday, December 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating. Cremation has taken place. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Irene's memory to Deer Lodge Centre. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
