Loving husband of Nancy (Nelson), dear father of Andrew and Susan, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Judd and Cathryn, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Proud grandfather of Benjamin and Anna, Ethan and Clara. Also survived by niece, Cary Rokusek and family, Crystal Lake, Illinois. Predeceased by parents Karl and Florence (Gerhardt) Ekdahl, brother Jon (Skip) and sister-in-law, Joan (Forness) Ekdahl. Friends may call on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 17 at 10:30 a.m. by The Very Rev. Terrance Dance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to London Health Sciences Foundation, Canadian Lung Association, or London Public Library Masonville Branch would be gratefully acknowledged.
