Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD JAMES COX Ronald passed away peacefully on November 13, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital. Ron was predeceased by his wife, Pat; parents, Catherine and Edward, and brother, Edward. He leaves his daughter, Noreen Quilliam (Michael) and their children, Jeffrey and Laura, and daughter, Patti Cox (Marcel). He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen Ellenton (Duke), and sister-in-law, Pat Cox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born on December 10, 1925, Ron grew up in Limerick, Saskatchewan. He proudly served in the Second World War. In 1949 he married Pat. Ron worked for the Bank of Montreal for 35 years, during which time the family resided in many towns and cities across Canada, before settling in Winnipeg in 1972. Ron was a longstanding member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge, No. 4. He enjoyed travelling with Pat, his garden and his beloved dogs, Molly, Maggie and Milo. The family will honour Ron's memory privately when his urn is placed next to his wife's in Holy Angel Mausoleum at Green Acres Cemetery.
