Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS (TONY) TREYTIAK January 16, 1942 November 15, 2007 Peacefully on November 15, 2007 at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 65, our beloved Husband, Dad and Pop, Nicholas (Tony) Treytiak passed away with his family by his side. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Nellie. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife of 43 years Kay; daughter Rhonda (Sheldon); grandchildren, Shelby and Carter; brother Bill (Jackie); sister Jennie (Greg); aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Tony was born and raised in Winnipeg. To his family he was Tony, to his grandchildren he was Pop, and at work he was Nick. Nick worked in the construction industry for most of his life. He enjoyed going to work everyday and rarely took vacation. He worked for B.A.C.M., Cambrian Excavators and spent the last 16 years at Hugh Munro Construction as a Parts Manager. Tony's favorite times were spent at the cottage that he built for his family at Grand Beach. Tony was a True Blue Bomber fan for many years. He attended Bomber games with his daughter Rhonda and this year he also took his granddaughter Shelby. Carter was always Pop's little helper when there was something to be built or fixed. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They meant the world to him. He was always there for his family offering advice, wisdom and support, especially for daddy's girl his partner. In his spare time, Tony enjoyed carpentry. He built everything from garages to gazebos to decks and whatever else he was asked to build. Tony was a very patient and giving man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Our lives will never be the same without you here. Rest in peace Pop . Funeral Service will be held at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Tuesday November 20, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Henry Lakusta officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. Pallbearers will be Sheldon Werboski (son-in-law), nephews, Daryl Zalondek, Jess Smith, Lincoln Smith, Brett Smith and Don Baker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association in Tony's memory. You were always there when we needed you No task too great or small With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us You knew how much we cared. God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be, He put his arms around you And said, Come unto Me. Forever in our memories We love you and miss you very much! CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
