MYRTLE MAY HEAMAN Peacefully on November 17, 2007 at the Boyne Lodge, our mother passed away with family by her side. Myrtle will be lovingly remembered by her son Ken and daughter-in-law Della and son Keith and daughter-in-law Helen. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Kim (David) Lush, Chris (Louise) Heaman, Jacki (Kirk) McManus, Michael (Kori) Heaman, and Lana Heaman (Pat Major) and six precious great-grandchildren, Kirstie, Darby, Nicolas, Kindra, Colby and Kaylee. Myrtle was predeceased by her loving husband Arnold in 1984 and her granddaughter Tracey in 1993. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Delbert and Lloyd and her sister Verna. She leaves to mourn three sisters-in-law, Agnes, Bessie, and Toots and many nieces and nephews. Myrtle was born on February 24, 1919 to Herbert and Ethel Walker. She grew up in Carman and the surrounding area. She married Arnold Heaman on December 12, 1938 and they farmed in the Ostrander District and retired to their home in Carman in 1965. Myrtle was a member of the D.A.S., serving as president from 1962-1964, the Ostrander Ladies Group and the Carman United Church where she was an active member of the U.C.W. For the last nine years Myrtle made her home at Boyne Lodge where she was given loving care by the wonderful staff members. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carman United Church, Box 1177, Carman, MB R0G 0J0 or to the Boyne Lodge, Box 910, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
