ANNE GREEN (HALLDORSSON)

ANNE GREEN (nee HALLDORSSON) Peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2007 surrounded by her children Anne joined her husband Nelson, son Jerry, parents, siblings and close friend Ellen. Anne was a testimonial of strength and courage by overcoming many life challenges with grace, humor and class. Anne's open and warm nature provided comfort and friendship for whomever she met. She started working at a young age and retired at the age of 70 due to her health, with a career devoted in service to others. She had many fond memories of working at the Misercordia Hospital, as well as being an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor at Main Street Project ending with a career as a Health Care Aide to many in the Belair and Victoria Beach area. She leaves to mourn her sons, Vaughn (Michele), Neil (Carol) and her daughter Colleen (Jeff). Also surviving are her special grandchildren Cameron, Graeme, Matthew, Rhys, Amanda, Luke, Matthew, Laura and Bennett. Through her marriage to Nelson she provided a place of comfort and family warmth to all of the Green family. She leaves to mourn many, Muriel Green and her children, many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael's Church, Victoria Beach, Manitoba with Mr. J.W. Whitford officiating. If friends so desire memorial donations in her memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or to the Main Street Project. A final note of thanks to Dr. J. Lipschitz, residents and all the Staff on GH3 in the Health Science Centre for their wonderful attentive care given to our mother. Special thanks to Steve, Hilda, Betty, Fr.
