MARTHE ALMA GAUVIN (nee BOUCHARD) After a courageous battle with cancer, Marthe Gauvin passed away peacefully on November 17, 2007. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her husband of 48 years, Adrien; sons, Marcel (Connie), Gérald (Evelyne); and grandchildren, Brittney, Jérémie, Brigitte and Zachary. Born March 27, 1938, she was predeceased by per parents, Isidore and Cécile Bouchard and brother Claude Bouchard. Also surviving are brother Denis (Betty) Bouchard; sisters, Monique (Albert) Rioux and Jeannine (Leo) Dubé; brother-in-law Jean-Paul (Evelyne) Gauvin; and sisters-in-law, Rogeanne (Paul) Genest, Jeannine (Karl) Braun, Catherine (Gilles) Gratton, and Florence Bouchard. Marthe loved gardening and was proud of her flower arrangements. She was a special mom; loving grandma; and a devoted friend to Adrien and many others. We thank all of them for their caring and support during this difficult time. She had the opportunity to travel with Adrien to many wonderful destinations and those memories will be cherished forever. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Cathédral, 190 Avenue De La Cathédrale, St. Boniface, MB, Father Edouard Bonin officiating. Cremation has taken place in accordance to her wishes. We would like to thank the St. Boniface CancerCare Clinic, Dr. Ralph Wong and all the palliative care staff for their support and compassion during her valiant fight.
