MICHAEL KRYZANOWSKI 1921 - 2007 It is with deep sadness and sorrow that the family announces the passing of Michael Kryzanowski on November 17, 2007. Mike was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Teena and his sister Rose. Left to cherish his memory are; his wife of 59 years, Florence, daughters Bernadette and Elizabeth (Andy), grandchildren Sarah and Eric and family friend Gwen. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters; Bill (Eleanor), John, Mary, Ann, Joe (Rhoda), and Bernard (Pauline). Mike will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Mike was born in Fosston, SK on October 26, 1921. He hopped on a cattle freight train to Winnipeg in 1940. He was hired at Northern Soap and Paint Company where he worked for 40 years until his retirement on September 17, 1980. Through his career he progressed from soap manufacturer to Director of Paint Production. On June 26, 1948 Mike married the love of his life Florence Ost. Mike's first car, a green Station Wagon, made numerous trips to Fosston, SK and Grand Forks. Mike had many happy retirement years, which included playing with his grandchildren - Sarah and Eric, having the greenest grass in the neighbourhood, feeding the ducks, shopping at Super Valu and ensuring his driveway was the first to be cleared of snow. Special Thanks to the Doctors and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital B4 for their compassionate care of Mike for the past two months. The family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Mike's Life on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church , 254 Arnold Street. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and reception at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
