Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS SITARZ (MADILL) Doris Sitarz, age 82 years, passed away peacefully with family at her side on November 15, 2007 at Fred Douglas Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, her sister Alice, and her three brothers Gordon, Harold and Clarence. She is survived by her son James, and her five daughters, Gail, Elaine, Ann, Marlene, and Suzanne; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Doris was born in Tiny Township, Ontario on December 7, 1924 to Violet and Earnest Madill, and spent most of her married adult years in Manitoba raising her family. Her warm smile and thoughtful, loving ways will be sadly missed. Mom will be remembered for her kindness, her gentleness, and for the courageous way in which she accepted whatever life brought her. The family would like to thank all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge who assisted Mom and us through these trying times. At family's request, private services were held for Doris. Well Auntie it has almost been 5 years since you left us. I always will remember the way you made me smile telling me stories about my Mom (your sister Alice) and the mischief you two got into even after your were married.(especially about painting the pig).
