Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORA HOOPER (nee REAY) Nora Hooper died peacefully on November 15, 2007, following a short illness. Born in Manitoba in 1914; predeceased by husband Hubert Henry (Hoop) of 51 years, sister Lil McWilliam and brother Bill Reay. Nora is survived by her sister Florence, Dauphin, Manitoba, brothers Lawrence (Betty), Surrey, and Norman (Doris) Peachland. No service by request. A memorial tea will be held on Thursday, November 22, 2007, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 306 E. 11th Ave., Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nora's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice. Special thanks to Dr. Cliff Silverthorne and the staff at Carlton Gardens Lodge.
