Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY KOTLARSKY Peacefully on November 21, 2007 at Hillel Lodge Nursing Home in Ottawa, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (Pleet) Kotlarsky, loving father of Carol Dworkin (Steven) and John (Louise). Proud grandfather of Sharon Smith (Will) of Colorado Springs. Predeceased by his parents David and Chaya, brothers Ben, Irwin and Sidney Cutler and sisters Ann (Ratner) and Mary (Cowan). Uncle Harry will be missed by his many nephews and nieces across Canada. Harry was a career public servant for 32 years and was Director of Personnel for several Government Departments in Ottawa. Harry also helped recruit many of the original staff at Telesat Canada. His work on behalf of the United Jewish Appeal and other Jewish causes was very important to him throughout his adult life. Known to many as Red Cutler, Harry was an avid bridge player, enjoying this activity both socially and competitively. A graveside service will be held at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa on November 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held following the service at Hillel Lodge. A special thank you to the staff at Hillel Lodge for their warmth and kindness. Arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair McGarry.
