MARGARET (MARGE) GIROUX April 30, 1914 November 19, 2007 Peacefully, on November 19, 2007, Marge passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Marge was the eldest daughter of Edwin and Daisy Campbell. She was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario. She married William Giroux on September 24, 1935. Following marriage, they relocated to Red Lake, Ontario where their two sons were born. Later, they moved to Winnipeg where they raised their boys. Marge was predeceased by her parents; husband, Bill in 1991; sister, Irene; brother, Godfrey and daughter-in-law, Lois. She will be lovingly remembered by sons, Bill and Ron (Sophie); three grandchildren, Cheryl Lefsrud (Doug), Russell Giroux (Andrea) and Jennifer Giroux; three great-grandchildren, Raven, Emily and Declan Giroux, and two sisters, Thelma Melvin and Pearl Wright. Marge was close to her nieces and nephews, particularly, Trudy Tait (Bob) and their family. Trudy was like a daughter to her. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. E. at Navin Rd., Pastor Jerry Plett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marge's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
