CLAUDE RAYMOND GOMIEN April 7, 1951 - November 15, 2007 Very suddenly Claude passed away doing what he loved the most - driving a truck. He will be very lovingly missed by his wife and partner of 34 years, Karen, his No. 1 and No. 2 darling daughters, Mandy and Kasey, also his three beloved dogs, Pepsi (Jackson), Scruffy (Spike) and Jinger. He was predeceased by his mother Louise, brother Rick, his beloved Gramere, his father Paul, brother-in-law Ernie and his two dogs, Buffy and Kody. He will be very sadly missed for his humour and his ability to supervise his many projects that he had with his younger brother Phillip, including making his back yard paradise which they celebrated with brewskie's and a BBQ by the fire pit every chance they got. Claude will be missed by his brothers and sisters all of which will have some fond memories, Danny (Bonnie), Karl (Karen), Sharon (Stan), Pearl (Stan), Brad (Evelyn), Bubby (Linda), Darlene, Barbara (Gary), David, Phillip; brothers-in-law, Jeff Harrap (Lore), Steven Reeves (Natalie), AJ Harrap; sister-in-law Kathy Carter (Chris); father-in-law Art Harrap (Libby); mother-in-law Toni Faraci; Auntie Eva and Uncle Rod Scandrett, along with many special nieces and nephews. His passions were his daughters who he would do absolutely anything for and his three beautiful dogs not to mention the love of his life Karen whom he adored. He also loved to plan up new projects and adventures for the future and accomplished many of them. Claude loved being a long distance truck driver which he had been doing for the last 20 years, he tried other things but always ended up back on the road with more stories that anyone ever wanted to hear. He will always be in our hearts, our thoughts and will be very lovingly missed by all who knew him. You will walk with us forever Dad, We love you! A celebration of his life will be held at the Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Ian Peterson, 5335 Portage Avenue, Headingley, on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow.
