HOWARD GRANT MCCAW 1914 - 2007 Peacefully, on November 19, 2007, at Luther Home, Grant passed away at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; daughters, Lynn (Wally) MacMartin and Shelley (Peter) Allen; grandchildren Paul (Kim) and Craig (Shannon) Hebert; Kelly, Shannon (Bob) and Sean Allen; and five great-grandchildren. Grant was born May 6, 1914 in Winnipeg and married Kathleen Sanderson on November 1, 1939. He served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1945. Grant and Kae resided most of their married life in Charleswood where he was an active member of the Charleswood Curling Club and the Charleswood Legion #100 for many years. Grant worked 28 years at Air Canada and retired from the Internal Audit department in 1976. Grant and Kae enjoyed traveling extensively to many destinations in Europe and the Caribbean. He was always up for a good game of poker, darts, curling or golf. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. The family would like to thank the caring and thoughtful staff at Luther Home. If friends so desire, donations in Grant's memory may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation, Manitoba Chapter, PO.
