EVELYN ANNA MILLAR (nee EVENSON) With sadness and love, we announce the passing of our mother, Evelyn Millar, peacefully on November 17, 2007, in Toronto in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Andrew (Andy, 2004), brother Melvin Evenson, parents Olaf and Selma Evenson. A proud resident of Winnipeg for 86 years, Evelyn moved with Andy to Toronto in 2001 to join their daughters Marilyn and Brenda, son-in-law Carl Blanchaer, grandchildren, Wallis, Rainer, and Max Millar-Blanchaer, brother and sister-in-law Lloyd and Dorothy Evenson and their family. She will be remembered by sisters-and-brother-in-law, Irene Millar, Patricia Millar and John Millar; as well as, by nieces and nephews across the country. Evelyn and Andy lived and worked in St. James for over 50 years. Many happy summers were spent at the family cottage at Matlock Beach and winter escapes were made to San Diego and Victoria, BC. As a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she brought love, beauty and support to us all. Her youthful spirit, charm and quiet humour will be dearly missed.
