With his loving humble nature and incredible strength Eric left us many gifts. He leaves a legacy of a caring, loving husband, a father who instilled the values of love, strength, generosity and compassion, the oldest brother of 12 who was admired and respected by his siblings, a loyal friend and a mentor to all who knew him. Eric immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1953. His parents, brothers, sisters and the love of his life, Agnes followed him in 1954. Eric was a hardworking-dedicated man who took pride in all he set out to do. He loved nature and was truly an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Thank you to all our family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. A special thank you to the Riverview Palliative Care 3-East and Dr. E.
