ALEIDA ALMA MOMAN Peacefully on November 23, 2007 at the age of 77 years, Aleida Alma Moman passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital with her family at her side. Aleida was born on June 23, 1930 in Ashern, MB. In 1948 she married John Moman and they raised their children on the family farm near Ashern. She loved to entertain family and friends at her home. She enjoy camping, gardening, playing cards and baking. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and especially attending their sporting events. Aleida will be sadly missed by her husband John, daughter Shirley (Reid) Price, sons, Reg (Vivian), and Allen (Donna); grandchildren, Tracy (Herb), D'Arcy (Liz), Darren (Charlene), Melanie (Derek), Kyle and Darwin; great-grandchildren, Preston, Emily, Braydon, Alisha, Payton and Taylor; sister Margaret and brother Bill (Eileen), brother-in-law Gibby, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Aleida was predeceased by her parents William and Annie, brothers, Henry, Albert, Clifford and George, sisters, Mabel, Evelyn and Velma. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Ashern Legion Hall with Melanie Kauppila officiating. Honorary Pallbearers for Aleida will be her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Ashern hospital, homecare staff, family and friends for all their visits and acts of kindness, also thanks to Arnason's Funeral Home for all their help and guidance at such a difficult time.
