CATHERINE GERALDINE MCKEE (HIGGINS) Catherine Geraldine McKee (Higgins), passed away peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2007, at the age of 79. Cathy suffered from Alzheimer's disease for many years. She was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Cathy married and moved to Edmonton in the late 1950s, and had two children, Diane and Billy. She was predeceased by Billy in the spring of 1964. She moved back to Winnipeg in 1978 to be closer to her Mother, Ruby Agatha Christie, and her sister, Doreen Eleanor Higgins. Cathy will be fondly remembered by her daughter Diane (Percy) Bacha, and her grandson, Jassi Bacha, her sisters, Doreen Higgins and Marilyn (Gordon) Bowman, her brother-in-law Bill (Sigrid) McKee, and her nieces and nephews, Sharon, David and Garth Bowman; Margaret (Eric) Ueland and Rod McKee. A very special thank you to the staff at station three in Tuxedo Villa who cared for Cathy with joy and compassion. It added a great deal to her quality of life, comfort and happiness.
