PATRICIA MARLENE ROWLEY (COSENS) March 17, 1953 November 21, 2007 After a long battle with a medical condition it is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Patricia Marlene Rowley (Cosens) into the loving arms of God on November 21, 2007 surrounded by her family. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Archie Thompson; children, Lance (Victoria Woods), Carmen (Dal) Dudar and Riley Thompson; grandson, Spencer Dudar; her brothers and sisters, Edwin (Linda) Cosens, Carolyn (Dennis) Larocque, Thelma Cosens and Ronald Cosens; Uncle Les and Aunt Millie Cosens; Leslie Coolidge and Lorna Theriault (Dennis Leschyshyn); father-in-law Alfred Thompson; brother-in-law David Thompson; sisters-in-law Beverly Tock and Barbara (Jim) Fisher; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia was predeceased by her mother Rosemary (1997), father Jim (2001), husband Colin Rowley (1983), mother-in-law Margaret Thompson (1998), and sister Darlene Todoruk (2006). Patricia was born and raised in Fisherton. After leaving home she spent time living in Winnipeg and Fort Macleod, Alberta. She then returned to live in the Fisher Branch area. In 1989 she married Archie Thompson and they lived on the CircleT Ranch in Sylvan. She truly had a love for the farm life, especially the horses. She was an avid curler and greatly enjoyed camping and traveling. Patricia was the president of the North Interlake Show Circuit and a member of 50/50 Super Horse. She also organized the Arborg Horse Show for the past several years. Patricia was loved and respected by everyone whose life she touched and like her sister, Darlene, was always positive and had a very strong and independent spirit. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Fisher Branch. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. and the casket will be closed for the service. Family invites you to join in a reception at the Ukrainian Hall in Fisher Branch following the service and interment.
