HAZEL CLAUDIA MACKEY (nee GREEN) It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of Hazel Mackey, who passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 93 years. Hazel will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband James, daughters May, Nancy, Violet, Gail, and son Bill (Louise), many grandchildren, James's family Linda, Mike, William, Colleen, Ruth, and their families. Born at Eagle River, Ontario raised in Birds Hill, MB, one of thirteen children to Pioneer parents of the area. Hazel enjoyed crocheting, her specialty was afghans to the delight of many recipients. She also loved the camping and fishing trips with her constant, loving husband Jim. To honour her wishes there will be a gathering of family and friends at the family niche, 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
