LARISSA PALUSTE We are saddened to announce that our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 92 years. Remaining to forever cherish Larissa's memory are her daughter Thea (John) Nykon; grandsons Shawn (Zoe) and Chris; as well as family and friends in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Europe. She was predeceased by her husband Arvo Paluste. Larissa was born in Tallin, Estonia and the family migrated to Canada from Belgium settling in Thunder Bay, Ontario. After her husband's passing, Larissa moved to Winnipeg to be with her daughter and her family, and kept active with her two grandsons who she adored. She was a strong person with a big heart who always looked forward to the challenges of the future and never dwelled in the past. In compliance with Larissa's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private interment will take place at a later date in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
