EDWARD (TEDDY) HOLMES SIMPSON Peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Parkview Place Personal Care Home, Teddy passed away at the age of 93 years. Remaining to forever cherish Teddy's memory are his sister, Elizabeth Hale of British Columbia; many good friends at the Quest Assisted Living Centre, a place Teddy called home for many years; new acquaintances at Parkview Place; as well as good friend Barbara and a special friend. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary in 1996. Teddy was born November 1, 1914 in Winnipeg to parents Beatrice Holmes Simpson and James Edward Simpson. A private service for Teddy will take place in the Chapel of Memories, in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard. Teddy's final resting place will be in Carman, Manitoba with his wife, Mary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teddy's memory to the charity of one's choice. Distance never separates two hearts that really care. Finally the distance between these two hearts have now been joined together forever.
