WILLIAM JAMES (JIM) KNIGHT Peacefully, on Saturday, November 24, 2007, William James Jim Knight was reunited with his beloved wife Anna after 14 years apart. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Rose and his brother, Harry. Jim will be greatly missed by daughter Lisa and husband Bart Omand; grandchildren Katherine Anna and Alexander James; brothers Arthur, Richard, Stanley, Donald and sister June and their families; and dear friends Adele Dale, Pat Barry and Dave Docteur; and many other in-laws and friends. Jim was born and lived in Winnipeg most of his life, but traveled extensively - returning often to Scotland and Barbados. Jim held many jobs, but was best known for his 35 years service as a painter at Air Canada, where he also volunteered as Special Events Coordinator with ACRA. He also enjoyed golf, curling, CFL, auto racing, music, movies and photography. A memorial service will be held, Friday, November 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park with a private interment to follow. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of their choice.
