RONALD MICHAEL HOLMES 1932 2007 On Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Ronald Holmes died at the age of 75 years. Ronald was the son of John W. Holmes of Feenagh, Ireland and of Margaret Ada Murphy of Chelton, P.E.I. He was born in Winnipeg. He attended schools in St. Anne and Winnipeg where he learned to speak French. A long time employee of the C.N.R., Ron retired as time keeper at Symington Yards. Plagued by ill health and after hospitalization and a serious operation, he spent the last years of his life at St. Joseph's Residence. He was treated with patience, compassion and love by a dedicated staff and administration, for which his sister Catherine will be forever grateful. His faith in Christ upheld him in life, as did his commitment to the Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated with Fr. Sean Cahill officiating on Tuesday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Residence, 1149 Leila. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery. Au revoir, dear brother!
