REV. JOHN H. THIESSEN 1918 - 2007 On Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, John H. Thiessen aged 89 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee went to his eternal rest. Reverend Thiessen was a well known minister of the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Manitoba from 1958 - 2001. He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, Shirley and Jake Penner of Winkler, Marge and Herb Kuhl of Winkler; two sons, Bernie and Helen Thiessen of Winkler, Walter and Mary Thiessen of Winkler; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Abe Thiessen of Winkler. He was predeceased by his wife, Agatha (nee Wall) in 2000; one grandson, Wendell in 1993 as well as 11 sisters and brothers. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home 121 8th St. in Winkler today from 1:00 7:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church 189 2nd St. with Rev. Abe Wiebe and Rev. Art Wiebe officiating. Interment to follow at Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in John's memory to Salem Foundation Inc. 165 15th St. Winkler, MB R6W 1T8. Rev.
