BELLA WHITE (nee FERRIS) 1908 - 2007 Peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, with friends by her side Bella passed away at 99 years of age. Bella was born on August 26, 1908. With the help of home care and Meals on Wheels, she was able to live in her own home until she had a fall last month. She is predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1996. Bella was a proud employee of the T. Eaton Company and enjoyed visiting the store on Saturday afternoons after her retirement. Bella is survived by her brother Jack, nephew Dave of Lakewood, California, grandson Darrell (Katrina) White and great-grandson Lloyd White of Manitouwadge, Ontario. She will be missed by her close friends Bev and Eric. At Bella's request, there will be no formal service. She will be interred beside Lloyd at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Bella requested that donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Winnipeg, 500-283 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3B 2B5 or a charity of one's choice.
