MARY ELLEN LARAMEE (nee BELLOWS) January 20, 1924 - November 26, 2007 On November 26, 2007 Mary went to be with the Lord. She passed away at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Basil; son Ron; brothers, George, Anton, Andrew, and Mike; sisters, Nettie and Anne. Mary will be sadly missed by her son Donald, daughter Carol (Bob) Ripley; grandchildren, Jason (Tessa), Allan, David, Laura; great-grandchildren Nigel and Emmanuel; sisters, Polly, Dianne and Lillian; brothers, Peter and Wilfred. Mary was born in Hyas, Saskatchewan. At a young age she moved to Winnipeg where she met Basil. She worked at Eaton's, and at the Winnipeg International Airport as a security guard. She was a gentle, kind, and devoted mother and wife. A funeral service will be held on Thursday November 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
