Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) MORRISON WEBSTER Peacefully, Margaret (Peggy) Morrison Webster passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Born at Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on December 28, 1913 at the family homestead, and was moved to Winnipeg on the death of her mother at childbirth. She was raised by her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Jack MacKay. She attended Wellington, General Wolfe, and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute before entering the business world, having been employed by Marshall Wells, Winnipeg Police Department, and Wood Gundy. On her marriage to her childhood friend, Jack, she became active in voluntary work, and was on the first C.W.L. Executive of St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Ladies section of Breezy Bend Golf and Country Club. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack, her adoptive parents, brother Jack McLeod of Oliver, BC and sister-in-law, Mae Webster of Winnipeg. She is survived by sister-in-law Dorothy McLeod and niece Lynn Friesen of Oliver, BC, and nephew, Ronald McLeod of Ladysmith, BC. Peggy will be sadly missed by her many friends and wished to thank all her caregivers, with special thanks to close friends Rita Scollin, Sandra Hartt, Audrey Hawkins and Marie Woods for their friendship and kindness. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Renfrew and St. John Brebeuf Place, with Msgr. Ward Jamieson celebrant. Reception to follow in Church Hall. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 287. I rest in my prairie soil.
