ALAN F. ROBSON W.W. II VETERAN It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our father and grandfather Alan Finlay Robson on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Grace Hospice at the age of 87 years. Remaining to forever cherish Alan's memory are his daughters, Judith Cran (Jim) and Jan Davison (Keith); five grandchildren, Jamie (Heidi), Jeff (Sue) and Juliet Cran, and Terry (Christina) and Todd (Carol) Davison; five great-grandchildren have happy memories of him Jordan and Emily Cran and Hayley, Tia and Andreas Davison; as well as his two brothers, George and Don Robson. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, he is with her again. Dad proudly served in the Second World War. In his civilian life he worked at G. McLean Co. and CIP Midwest Paper Co. Upon retirement, he happily pursued an acting career and was a member of the Happy Homesteaders Singing Group. Alan's funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, 525 Wardlaw Avenue at Nassau Street. The family wished to thank the staff of Grace Hospice for their dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to be made in Alan's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
