Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANASTASIOS APOSTOLOPOULOS It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father and papou, Tasso Apostolopoulos at the age of 77, on November 28, 2007. Left to cherish his memory, are his loving wife of almost 40 years, Maria. His daughter Vicki, his sons Konstantino and Niko (Tanya), and his three beautiful grandchildren; Stasio, Demetri and Kristina-Maria. Tasso was born in the village of Vlahokerasia, Arkadia, Greece in 1930. He immigrated to Canada in 1963 and worked as a house painter until his retirement. He met his wife Maria on vacation in Greece in 1967, and they married in Winnipeg on January 20, 1968. Tasso's greatest joys were his children, his grandchildren and his home and garden. Also left to mourn his passing, are his many cherished friends in Winnipeg, and his family in Greece. Prayers and Funeral Service will be held at 2255 Grant Avenue, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, on Sunday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. respectively. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory towards the Manitoba Hellenic Cultural Center, 2255 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3P 0S2 ph. 889-8723.
