DOROTHY VIOLA CAMPBELL Dorothy Viola Campbell passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the age of 67. She was at home with her family by her side. Dorothy (Mom) was born on May 11, 1940 at Preeceville, Saskatchewan . She was predeceased by her husband Mike Bielik on October 28, 1977, her parents Gladys and Jack Campbell and a brother Bill Campbell. She will be sadly missed by her children Judy, Randy (Joyce), Dale (Bonnie), David (Robin) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a wonderful sister Leita Racette and a very special brother David Campbell. Dorothy attended primary school in Stergis, Saskatchewan, then moved to Benito where she continued her education and married Mike Bielik. They moved to Churchbridge then Wabowden where they remained until Mike passed away. She later moved to Brandon where she obtained her Nursing license and worked in the Nursing field for many years. After spending some time in British Columbia and Ontario she returned to Manitoba and resided in Komarno. She loved her garden, her family and friends, and was very talented in so many ways. She loved art, writing, sewing, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, raising animals and children, and she left many fond memories to be treasured by all who knew her. Dorothy was a great example of courage, strength and determination. A service was held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Her brother David Campbell officiated. We send many thanks to Palliative Care, especially Vera, Home Care and the Teulon Hospital and Ambulance and all involved in her journey and her dream. Take her hand precious Lord, lead her home.
