AGNES WINZOSKI (ELIUK) Peacefully on December 2, 2007, Agnes went to her reward and to join her husband Peter who predeceased her in 1994. Agnes also leaves to mourn her sisters, Olga, Ann, Wilma and Ruby; brothers, Vincent and Billy. She leaves to mourn her loss sisters, Jean Juskon (Winnipeg), Marion Carbert (Nanaimo) and brother Melvin Eliuk of Winnipeg. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews and her baby, her cat Noah, who has been her constant companion since 1998. Born in Arbakka, Manitoba, March 17, 1916, she has always enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling many times with Peter to Hawaii and enjoying the family cottage at Eleanor Lake. She was employed by Mall Medical Group and made many friends among doctors, nurses and patients. She has always had a love of gardening and spent many hours tending to her plants and when the gardening season was over she began her canning and freezing. When this was done it was time to bake for Christmas. She was indeed a lady for all seasons. She also enjoyed her trips to Grand Forks for some shopping and a change of scenery, making her last trip after Remembrance Day this year with her niece and nephew. They will miss those trips. She always was there for others and the family would like to thank those who have been there for her, including friends and neighbours and the doctors and nurses of Victoria Hospital. Your kindness is appreciated. As per Agnes wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 85 Kirkbridge, Richmond West, with reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Agnes' name to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Winnipeg Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Rest in Peace Aunt Agnes you will be missed by all of us.
