JUNE (IRENE) ANDERSON (nee NORTHWOOD) Peacefully on November 30, 2007, June Irene Anderson passed away surrounded by her loving children. She will be greatly missed by sons, David (Joanne), granddaughters, Hayley and Amelia of Melbourne, Australia, Jim (Roberta), daughter Nancy and by many family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert George Anderson on January 17, 2005, and her parents Charles and Jane and brothers, Ed, Ernie and Phil. Mom was born and raised in St. Vital where she resided until she met our father on one of her excursions to Clear Lake. Mom and Dad were married in April 1953. They moved to East Kildonan in 1958 where they raised their family. Mom loved to golf and bowl and was highly skilled at needlepoint. The most fulfilling aspect of her life was the joy of her family and the company of good friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Grace Hospital. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, would be greatly appreciated. Memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street.
