BRENT WALKER MATERNICK March 22, 1944 It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my soulmate, and best friend Brent Walker Maternick on December 4, 2007. He is survived by his wife Hendrica, brothers, David (Marie), Ken (Theresa), and his three, children Dara (Keith), Derek (Karen), Bryson (Jenn), and his four grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Ella and Ryan. There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation (Patient Compassionate Fund), 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. I would like to take this opportunity to especially thank Brent's wonderful and exceptional caregivers at the St. Boniface General Hospital; Dr. Cliff Yaffe, Dr. Paul Daenick, and the dedicated team headed by Tracy The Princess on 7AW. Special thanks also to Judie and my many friends at Surgical Associates. Your compassion and understanding in my time of need was greatly appreciated. The outpouring of love and friendship from family and friends will never be forgotten. Darling, there will never be another you; I will love you forever.
