FRANCIS KENDALL April 5, 1927 - December 4, 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) Kendall on December 4, 2007 after a brief battle with cancer. Frank was a devoted family man whose life revolved around his wife, children and the Church. Frank was predeceased by his father James, mother Winnifred May, and brother Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret, sons John and Philip, and daughter Elaine. Also by his sister Mary Finn, sister-in-law Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews in England. Frank was born on April 5, 1927 in Accrington, Lancashire, England. Frank and Margaret were married on September 10, 1955. Frank worked as a Machinist/Pipe Fitter for numerous companies in the Accrington area until the family immigrated to Canada in August 1967. They resided in Thompson, Mb., where Frank worked for INCO for 22 years. He retired from INCO in 1989, at which time he and Margaret moved to Winnipeg where they resided in the Transcona area. The family would like to thank the nursing and medical staff of 3rd West Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion. Thank you to Dr. Ormiston and Dr. Harris. Thank you to Fr. George of St. Alphonsus Parish for his kindness. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, December 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand officiating. Burial to take place in St. Vital Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, or a charity of one's choice.
