Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD ROY KOVICH July 14, 1955 - November 25, 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing on November 25 in Calgary, Alberta. He was born in Riverton, Manitoba, on July 14, 1955. He is survived by his mother Olga; brothers, Norman, Clifford, Leonard (Lana); and sister Doreen (Dean); special friend Janie; his nephews, Jonathan, Christopher, Brendon and Kyle; niece Samantha; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his father John in 2002; and sister Marlene in 1964. Gerald was a loving and caring son, brother and uncle, a devoted and hard worker in whatever he did. He was last employed with Behr Canada in Calgary which he enjoyed immensely. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews and niece. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, Box 149, Riverton, Manitoba R0C 2R0.

Gerald you were a cool guy. All that were close to you knew your standup nature. I regret not having kept in touch in the latter years but isn't that always the case. They say the best time to plant an Oak tree is twenty-five years ago. We had a lot of laughs and great conversations. The visits to Calgary would not have been the same without going to your place.
