Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY KENNEDY SPROUL Stanley Kennedy Sproul, beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Beth Sproul, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Stan was born in Martintown, Ontario and raised and educated in Winnipeg. After working in Winnipeg and Montreal he relocated to Lethbridge in 1967 as Refinery Manager for Canbra Foods. He was a member of McKillop United Church and the Kiwanis Club. Stan was very active in the Masons and was Past Master and Secretary of York Lodge No. 119 (now North Star No. 4), a member of Scottish Rite and Concordant bodies, a member of the Royal Arch and Past Patron of Maple Leaf Chapter No. 7, OES. Besides his wife Beth of 55 years, Stan is survived by his daughters, Allison (Michael) Dixon of Winnipeg and Donna Brittner of Lethbridge; granddaughters, Amanda (Rob) Lipsey of Calgary, Melissa (Brad) Gillam of Lethbridge and Amy Brittner (fiancé John Cadman) of Calgary and great-grandchildren Madeleine Gillam and Jackson Lipsey. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Olive and Leslie Sproul, sister Margaret Shorten and brother Dr. Douglas Sproul. A Celebration of Life was held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 15th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Terry Shillington and Reverend Cathy Coates officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McKillop United Church Memorial Fund, 2329 15th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1K 0X5 or to the Masonic Higher Education Bursary Fund, 330 12th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB, T2R 0H2.
